Becoming an Area CEO

Understand the route from expressing interest to a defined Area leadership appointment.

  1. Review the current Area CEO opportunity and its requirements, or contact Afrihood about the area you have in mind.
  2. Explain your local knowledge, delivery experience and proposed opportunity.
  3. Provide further information through the approved application and disclosure process when requested.
  4. Review the actual mandate, appointment conditions and responsibilities before accepting an offer.

Expressing interest or being shortlisted does not appoint you. Selection begins a defined, unpaid mandate as an Area CEO-designate. The superior executive team may recruit a candidate; the Area company's competent Board makes the executive appointment only after the qualifying Project Commissioning Certificate and the applicable appointment conditions are satisfied. A designate may act only within the written commissioning mandate. No designate, appointed executive or other officer should receive customer money personally: payments must go to the designated account in the applicable agreement, not to an individual.
