Local leadership and shared accountability

Local teams lead delivery within a shared organisational framework. Each company keeps its own responsibilities, appointments and authority.

Afrihood's organisational model connects four levels:

Centre → Country → Area → Project

The intended Centre will hold the common framework: the development standard, brand, platform and group oversight. A Country company is responsible for the business in its market, applies local requirements and supports its Areas. An Area company, led by its Area CEO, develops opportunities and carries projects in its locality. A Project is a particular development within that Area.

The structure describes how the network is organised, not a claim that every level already exists in every market. Afrihood Development Company Limited, registered in Nigeria as RC 1814937, is the current Nigerian company of record. The intended Centre is not yet formed; the Nigerian company carries the applicable responsibilities during this phase.

Boards govern companies; executives lead their operations. Where the superior company acts as shareholder, its Board appoints the lower company's Board under the applicable ownership rights. That company's Board appoints its CEO and Company Secretary. A Country CEO can recruit Area CEO candidates and support their work, but does not appoint the Area's directors.

A Country Company Secretary may also serve Area companies through a separate appointment by each Area Board. Shared people do not erase separate company responsibilities.

Local teams have the authority to deliver within their mandates. Independent professional judgement, legal requirements and decisions reserved to the Board remain separate from day-to-day management. The responsible company and the scope of an appointment must always be clear.

These are model tiers. The Centre is not yet formed, and each company and office must be evidenced in its actual market.
